I remember the day my scale blinked back at me: “220”.
That’s 220 pounds. I couldn’t believe it… when did I pass the 200 mark?! How did I let this happen?!
Okay, I know there’s much more to account for than just weight alone, but I’m a 5’2” female and had just turned 30 years old. There was no denying I was overweight and could no longer make excuses..
So that same week, I signed up for a new gym membership and vowed to really stick to it this time. But then day 3 hit... and Oh Zeus Almighty, the morning after hit me like a hangover after college.
